Dark Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

~ mix the above

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar or a little less

2 eggs

1 tbsp molasses

2 tsp vanilla extract

~ mix the above

Then mix both mixtures then add;

3 Cups oats

1 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips

Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes

Babka (Steamed Cake)

 

Babka (Steamed Cake)

1 Cup sugar 
3 Tbsp Water
1/2 Cup oil or more
5 Eggs
Combine and mix

4 heaping Tbsp potato flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
Mix with above

1 Cup flour - mix and consistency should be runny and silky

Pour in steamed cake pan that has been buttered and dusted with cornmeal and lock with lid
In big pan bring water to boiling point
Place cake in pan - boiling for 1 minute
Reduce head to minimum heat (3) for 1 hour

Water level must be 1/2 way to tin.  Tin cannot float
